Yesterday the Cross and the Tomb

Yesterday: the cross and the tomb; today: the long vigil; Tomorrow: the RESURRECTION.

These are the days of transition. Today is the last day of the old; tomorrow begins the new. the new begins with worship. Yesterday the cross and the tomb; today the long vigil; tomorrow the resurrection. "If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone. Everything is made new" (2 Cor. 5:17) Forget the failures of the past. Look at the new thing God is doing. He is making a road in the emptiness and rivers in the dry land-Isa. 43:18-19. "I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal, but I will continue trying to reach it and to make it mine...I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I will do, forgetting the failures of the past, I remember the promises of God and strain toward the possibilities which lie ahead. I will keep reaching toward the goal, to get the prize for which God has called me through Christ..." (Phil 3:12-14).
